One of our talented hand dippers in the Watson's candy Kitchen, Goretti has been a seasonal worker since 2019 but has recently joined the team full time!
Goretti and her 4 sons moved to the US in 2014. Originally from Congo, she and her family spent several years in a refugee settlement camp in Uganda before resettling in Buffalo. Goretti is the proud grandmother to 5 grandchildren (2 in the US and 3 still living in Uganda).
Goretti's favorite holiday is Christmas and she loves to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Her favorite confection is her hand dipped almonds & filberts... and she takes pride in her speed of filling coconut cups. Goretti's youngest son Faustin plays hockey as a junior at St. Joe's.
